Switchboard Finance agent API

Switchboard Finance is a licensed Australian finance broker for self-employed business owners and ABN holders (Switchboard Finance Pty Ltd, Credit Representative 576702 of LMG Broker Services Pty Ltd, Australian Credit Licence 517192). This API, MCP server and A2A agent let AI assistants check whether we can help with a business finance need and, with the owner's consent, pass the enquiry to a licensed broker.

check_fit	Which finance types fit a scenario, with loan size, LVR, timing and trading-history checks, documents usually needed, deal-breakers and the expected callback time. Shows an interactive card where the host supports MCP Apps.	No

Errors are JSON: {"error": "...", "problems": ["what to fix"]}. 429 responses carry Retry-After.

request_callback requires the person to have agreed to: "I agree to Switchboard Finance contacting me about this enquiry by phone, SMS and email, including follow-up emails I can unsubscribe from at any time."

Collection notice: Switchboard Finance Pty Ltd (Credit Representative 576702 of Australian Credit Licence 517192) collects the name, phone, email and finance scenario you share, via the assistant you are using, to have a licensed broker contact you about this enquiry. Nothing is applied for and no credit check is run. If details are not provided we cannot call you back. We do not sell your details. Our privacy policy (https://www.switchboardfinance.com.au/privacy-policy) explains how to access or correct your information and how to complain.

Each enquiry records how consent was given, whether the notice was shown, the consent wording version and when consent expires (90 days). Enquiries are never used for marketing lists.

What it does not do

It does not name lenders, rank products, make credit decisions, give personal advice or apply for credit. Consumer and personal loans are out of scope. Every enquiry is assessed by a licensed broker.

Limits

Up to 3 enquiries a minute per connection. Read tools are cached for an hour. Responses stay small (a few KB).
